How to be live a happier life 

 

1.Practice Gratitude:  To have gratitude is to focus on the positives and possibilities, feeling lucky being yourself and being content with what you possess. You could keep a gratitude journal to write down the things you are grateful for throughout the day. It could be as simple as being thankful for waking up, grateful for having education or having a job, thankful for a new day and for getting to live a great life. This will help shift your focus towards the positive aspects of your life.

 

 

2.Cultivate Positive Relationships:  Tips to have positive relationships are to show genuine interest in the person you are speaking to. Actively listen to them and show interest in what they are saying. Ask questions to expand the conversation. And most importantly, be present in the moment. Communicate effectively by listening without judgement and communicate clearly and understandably. You should be willing to compromise with the person you are speaking to, address conflicts constructively, and provide support when necessary. You should also show compassion towards others and be supportive to them.

 

 

3.Take Good Care of Your Physical Health: You can do this by scheduling daily exercise. It is recommended to engage in at least 150 minutes per week of moderate-intensity aerobic exercise such as brisk walking, cycling at a moderate pace, stair climbing, rope jumping, hiking, swimming leisurely, or other activities or at least 75 minutes per week of vigorous-intensity exercise such as running or jogging at a fast pace, High-intensity interval training (HIIT), high intensity cycling, swimming fast, rope jumping at a fast speed, high-intensity weightlifting, or other activities. You should also eat a balanced diet such as fruits, vegetables, proteins, whole grains, dairy or dairy alternatives, healthy fats, healthy snacks, fiber-rich foods, healthy drinks, and maybe a little of sweets in moderation.

 

 

4.Seek for Activities that Bring You Joy: Find out what activities make you feel happy and fulfilled then pursue them. It could be painting or drawing, dancing, cooking, gardening, journaling, reading, playing video games, collecting items, playing a musical instrument, language learning, photography, meditation, nature walks, sports, DIY projects, volunteer work, etc. By engaging in the activities that bring you joy, you can reduce your stress, increase happiness, increase self-esteem, increase personal fulfillment, and can lead to new social connections as you reach out to other people with the same passion.

Practice mindfulness by paying attention to your thoughts and emotions without judgement by bringing your focus back to the present whenever negativity arises. Be kind and compassionate to yourself and treat yourself as you would to a close friend. Acknowledge that everyone experiences negativity from time to time and give yourself encouragement as well as do positive self-talk.

 

 

8.Laugh More Often: You can do this by watching comedic movies, funny tv shows, standup comedy shows, or funny videos. You can also read funny books or join a social media group that posts funny things. Spend time with funny people for their good sense of humor can lighten up your mood. Find out what makes you laugh by exploring different types of humor and what resonates with you. Prepare a funny punch line and tell it to your friends or coworkers so you can all have some fun.
